Dissolved Oxygen

Dissolved oxygen (DO2) sensors measure the amount of oxygen in an aqueous solution. Various measurement techniques exist, including polarographic, galvanic, and optical sensors. This type of measurement is meant to be an indicator of water quality, with the goal of preventing corrosion and ensuring that sufficient oxygen is present for aquatic life and bacteria to survive.
