Sulphur Recovery

Sulphur Recovery Analyzers use highly reliable field-proven UV technology to accurately monitor the concentration of both H2S and SO2 in Sulphur recovery tail gas. These compact, rugged analyzers can be mounted directly on the process pipe, eliminating the complexity and safety issues associated with fiber optic coupled photometers. Alternatively, an extractive analyzer housed in a heated analyzer enclosure – used in conjunction with the ASR 900 sampling probe – can be used to monitor sulphur recovery tail gas, and would be suitable for operation in more extreme ambient temperatures.

Additional measurements are taken throughout the SRU and tail gas treatment units, including the feed forward acid gas application using the HAG probe and our extractive and accepted UV analyzer.
