Summary of responsibilities


Reporting to the Director of Operations, the candidate will be responsible for the production and assembly of Novatech systems by following high quality standards, according to the requirements of sales, engineering and customer specifications. 


Main Tasks

  • Assemble Novatech’s control panels and analytical systems according to requirement standards and work instructions, including the assembling of electrical and pneumatic material;
  • Ensure assembly methods are followed and develop new ones as needed;
  • Following technical and manufacturing specifications, ensure the quality of assembled items;
  • Use equipment, space, personnel and assembly materials with the utmost efficiency;
  • Attend to the correction of ineffective working methods;
  • Notify the Purchaser if materials needed for assembly are missing to complete projects;
  • Suggest any new methods to improve assembly efficiency;
  • Comply with Novatech's policies and apply the procedures and work instructions of the quality system;
  • Attend to the verification phase of our systems testing and make necessary corrections;
  • Perform any other related duties as requested by the immediate supervisor;
  • Ensure the proper execution of the production schedule and the preparation of the work in order to meet the delivery deadlines;
  • Inform engineering and/or appropriate people of any non-compliance;
  • Help at the request of your Team Lead certain special projects related to your area of expertise.

 

Requirements

  • College diploma in electromechanics or equivalent experience;
  • 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Have electrical knowledge, understand pneumatic systems and be able to read technical drawings;
  • Have experience in parts manufacturing and be able to use various manufacturing tools and machines.
